Eddie’s mom was the mad scientist of this family. She was always in the basement testing something, be it a new butter substitute or a new method for cleaning the house. And, when she wasn’t in the basement, she was at work or out with friends. So when Eddie came face-to-face with his mother’s creation, he knew what needed to be done.
